April 2008 - At a glittering ceremony at the Moat House Hotel on 1st April 2008, Sudden Impact were shortlisted from 20 companies as finalists in the "Environmental Business" category, along with Fuchs Lubricants and Staffordshire Highways.Nominated for their efforts to reduce the environmental impact of redundance office equipment, Sudden Impact specialise in the repair, servicing and recycling of printers, plotters, fax machines and scanners.They also refurbish and re-sell fuser units, maintenance kits, network cards, duplex units, and many other printer related accessories and spare parts.Handling thousands of end-of-life machines each year, they keep a large stock of printers for re-sale, exchange or rental.

Sudden Impact Received the Bronze Award in the Sustainable Business Category of the Staffordshire Green Awards last night.
The high profile ceremony was held at the impressive JCB Worldwide HQ at Rocester, Cath Fearn and Shay Newman were presented the award by Terry Dix, Chairman of Staffordshire County Council.
Cath Fearn said: "We are very proud to receive this award, it is great for our business to be recognised in this way. Sudden Impact has always tried to encourage people to refurbish and recycle their office printers, but to receive an award for it is just great ! We would like to thank Dave Hallam and the team at SBEN (Staffordshire Business Environment Network) for their encouragement to enter these awards, and also for their ongoing support. Their help is invaluable to small businesses like ours.
